Ipomoea cordatotriloba Dennstedt

These Ipomoea cordatotriloba Dennstedt are blooming everywhere as the days get shorter. While these native plants don't have a common name in Florida, they are recognized by their family Convolvulaceae (Morning-glory). They are listed as noxious weeds in several states where they are referred to as "Tie Vine" because of their tough, twining vines.

This specimen was photographed along the land barrier where Lake Theresa and Lake Louise meet.

The synonym for this species is Ipomea trichocarpa.
