Above: Queen Palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana) with LED lights and the full moon.
ABOVE: The rising moon provides some light for these east-facing shots.
ABOVE: I put LED icicle lights on the house that change colors.
To the right in this image -- the bushier African Date Palms (Phoenix reclinata) have already taken a beating from the cold. They recover much faster than the Queen Palms so I decided to just leave them alone this year.
ABOVE: Looking west another African Date Palm with Queen Palms in the background.
ABOVE: Looking North, at the house, there is little to no green in the landscape. Persistent drought has turned everything except what is irrigated a crispy brown.
BELOW: The front door with the now-traditional Christmas archway. It too is decked out in moving LEDs.
