Pumpkin Heads

We finally got the pumpkin head people constructed, only a week before the big holiday. It was hot (80°s F.; 29° C.) and buggy with swarms of mosquitoes . . . but the task is complete. Above: I couldn't get Dell-Roy Jackson to pose so I man-handled him into this shot. He was once a scrawny, mangy little stray cat. . .but since he's moved inside he is a whopping 22 pound (10 kg) giant. . . with shiny black hair and piercing green eyes. He still sports a full set of working claws, as well.

To say Dell is a handful, in general, would be an understatement. He keeps me busy along with all the others.

Above and Below: The people went through some changes as we added and rearranged stuff.

Below: Perhaps we over accessorized. That's a giant spider coming out of the pumpkin-heads-on-a-pole display. . .and crows coming out of Ms. Pumpkin Head's headdress.

Below: A close up of the irreverent t-shirt that we found for Mr. Pumpkin Head.
