Christmas decorating has begun. The most notable additions this year
are several hundred flying pigs on the Christmas tree.
The flying pigs are complete with wings and LED lights.
When I first saw them I knew I had to have them. . . though there really
wasn't much room on the tree for anything else.
This is a 9-foot (3 m.) fir tree. I had to bend the top down to
make room for the angel topper.
We have one giant flying pig leftover from a couple years ago.
She has a place of prominence this year on one side
of the fireplace.
The tree is on the other side of fireplace. It
casts quite a glow with about 500 LEDs in addition
to the flying pig lights.
I've put a lot of lights outside. Next I'm going to try and do something
creative with pickle jars, again. . . as I have many leftover lights.
