Sunflower Trees and Fire

Above: The sunflower tree or tree marigold (Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.) A. Gray) is in full bloom despite weeks of cool weather and frost. . . and the persistent smoky fire is. . . well. . .still smoldering.
I wrapped all the Queen Palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana with LED Christmas lights. . . pictured above and below.

The garage, in the distance, is also wrapped in Christmas Lights.

Below: I moved the first 1,000 pounds concrete mix today, from Hardware Store to Home. We're going to need a lot more concrete.

A Sable Palm or Cabbage Palmetto (Sabal palmetto (Walter) Lodd. ex Schult. & Schult. f. ) in foreground of the setting sun, this evening.
