I had put off this project repeatedly because it required the repair of the broken gray water line and excavation of the west side of the fill-hill in the back. . .a project that I never wanted to undertake. Add to that I intended to continue the theme of using 100% recycled materials for these projects. I was 90% successful using recycled wire, conduit, and PVC pipes excavated from other areas of the yard.
The project is now about 1/2 complete. Photos below with captions:

The broken gray water line had been covered with carpet and underlain with construction fill. All is now removed. Below a wide shot showing the overall scale of the project area.

Below: A trench was dug for the new electrical lines so that they would be located beneath all water lines.

I put the new lines in conduit. All recycled materials were used, unearthed from other areas of the yard. This yard hosts at least 5 prior sprinkler systems and tons and tons of 10-gauge (very good) electrical wire.

Above: As the day ended the project was appearing more finished.

Above: I will have to scavange some electrical junction boxes or buy new to finish the new outlet stations.

Broad view of the new hill, free from construction debris, carpet, and with all lines (water and electric) repaired and functioning normally.
