Fritillary Sex; Agraulis vanillae (L. 1758)



The Gulf Fritillary Buterflies (Agraulis vanillae) are busy procreating despite the brutal heat and dry we're currently experiencing.

While I don't want to intrude I couldn't resist these shots. ABOVE: The one on top is the male. His wings never quit fluttering.



These are our most abundant and persistent butterflies in Florida. BELOW: The one on top is the male.
