Florida Christmas Lights

This is Santa on a 5-gallon Mt. Olive Pickle Jar, stuffed with LED  lights.  In the background are a couple of 30-foot tall Queen Palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana) wrapped with lights.
This is a different angle of Santa on the pickle jar with some of the other lights. I draped colored LEDs from the Common Persimmon tree (Diospyros virginiana) that I've let grow up near the front door.  The Common Persimmon is one of our few trees that shows a lot of color in winter regardless of temperature.  This specimen has lost most of its leaves.
A Florida scene at a nearby marina.
An alien on a quart Mt. Olive Pickle Jar.  The jar is stuffed with LED lights.  The alien is decked out for cold weather that has not yet materialized.
Lots of pickle jars and characters awaiting their placement in the display.  I thought
they looked kind of proud standing here . . . before I stuffed their jars with lights.
